Job Summary The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and HR projects. As part of a collaborative HR team of four, this role helps drive a positive employee experience and ensures consistent HR service delivery across the organization. Responsibilities and Duties Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, delivering seamless employee experience
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity and process payroll as a backup when necessary
Support benefits enrollment, administration, and employee education initiatives
Assist in employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and coaching
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
Partner with the HR Director and team on key HR initiatives and projects
Generate reports and HR metrics to support strategic decision-making
Support managers through the performance management process, including annual reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
Assist in organizing employee training sessions, onboarding programs, and compliance training initiatives.
Support the maintenance and communication of HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure compliance and consistency.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
Provide support in recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and participating in candidate screening as needed.
Help to continuously improve HR processes and programs
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3-4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a corporate environment
Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) Payroll and reporting
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
Proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach
HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is a plus, but not required
