The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee orientation, training development, and strategic planning. This position requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as the ability to effectively manage employee relations and compliance matters. From recruiting and onboarding new talent to supporting team culture and compliance, you’ll be at the heart of our mission. Duties Support the Executive Director in the design and execution of employee and organization development strategies that equip staff to carry out the company mission. Oversee the full cycle hiring process: recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining qualified ABA professionals. Support team members with clear policies, efficient tools, and timely information Maintain HR documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with leadership to anticipate staffing needs. Help foster a positive, inclusive culture where RBTs, BCBAs, and support staff feel valued and empowered. Provide support and input to management regarding employee relations issues from coaching to corrective action; proactively maintaining a positive work environment through a fair and consistent resolution process. Administer company benefits, including open enrollment, managing qualifying life events and communicating benefits information to employees. Oversee active open positions on job boards. Obtain all documentation required and maintaining employee personnel records (physically and digitally) in addition to medical and payroll files. Assists with the investigation and resolution of employee complaints or policy violations. Completes employment verifications for current and former employees. Ensures and facilitates effective communication to all employees and engages leadership to communicate and follow up with team members. Conduct exit interviews and review termination data to determine trends in company turnover. Skills Proficiency in training development techniques and methodologies. Experience with HR software platforms including Workday, Paychex, UltiPro, and Lever. Strong understanding of recruiting strategies and best practices. Knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations and processes. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with employees at all levels. Ability to think strategically while executing day-to-day HR functions.
