HR Generalist Position Available In Pitt, North Carolina

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Farmville, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing human resources operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Utilize systems like ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce to manage payroll, benefits, and HR data effectively.
• Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA and other applicable labor laws, keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Handle recruitment processes, including utilizing ATS systems to track and manage candidates.
• Conduct onboarding and training programs for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
• Support benefits enrollment and resolve employee inquiries related to health, dental, and retirement plans.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports to support HR decision-making.
• Provide guidance and support on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution. Requirements
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, with a focus on benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
• Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and ATS platforms.
• Strong understanding of labor laws, including FMLA, and the ability to ensure organizational compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Experience managing benefits functions, including open enrollment and employee inquiries.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
