Human Resources Generalist We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will work closely with leadership to ensure the consistent implementation of internal policies and HR practices that support the organization’s operations and culture. This role is responsible for overseeing core HR functions such as onboarding and offboarding, compliance-focused recordkeeping, performance tracking, and benefits administration. A key feature of this role is direct support to the CEO, CFO, and VP of Special Projects, offering critical HR insights and coordination to ensure alignment between organizational goals and employee needs. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining corporate and HR-specific policies and SOPs, and ensuring Crandell-specific training records are current and compliant.   • Draft and maintain foundational corporate HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), including those specific to Crandell’s operations and staff needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a smooth, thorough, and compliant process for all team members.
  • Maintain accurate, secure, and inspection-ready personnel records in both electronic and manual formats, following all applicable regulations.
  • HR may be required to travel to sites to interview.
  • Manage all CEI training. Work with the Office Manager/ Receptionist to coordinate all external training activities. Support training on any coordinate policies.
  • Track and support the completion of employee performance reviews annually.
  • Support disciplinary actions in collaboration with leadership, ensuring documentation is thorough, fair, and confidential.
  • Manage and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and workplace accommodations.
  • Respond to and document workplace accidents or incidents, working closely with leadership and other departments to ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Ensure Crandell-specific and general staff training records are up to date, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and VP of Special Projects to support HR initiatives tied to strategic planning, compliance, and culture-building.
  • Assist with sending out all HR related correspondence through various channels
  • Plan and execute company-sponsored events and contests for employees
  • Serve as a visible, responsive, and approachable HR presence to staff across the organization. Qualifications of the HR Generalist
  • Minimum Associate’s Degree in a related field or HR certification required.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or related HR role.
  • Solid knowledge of human resources functions, including compliance, benefits administration, policy development, training, and performance management.
  • Experience drafting and implementing internal policies and SOPs.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and general office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
