Join Temporary Solutions as our new Placement Section Supervisor! This position leads a dedicated team of Placement Counselors (HR Technicians III). This position will do the following: - Provide HR consulting and onboarding services to job seekers and state agencies employing temporaries.
- Build partnerships with state agencies to understand and meet their temporary employment needs.
- Plan and direct the Placement Section workflow to ensure a successful biweekly payroll.
- Provide training opportunities for your team and partners.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operation of Temporary Solutions as a member of our management team.

Division Information
Temporary Solutions, a program of the NC Office of State Human Resources, provides North Carolina state government agencies with temporary employee recruitment, HR consulting, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, and compliance support services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
Experience screening employment applications
Experience determining appropriate job classifications
Experience calculating salaries/hourly rates based on applicant data
Skilled in using SharePoint, DocuSign, and E-Verify

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four (4) years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
