Job Description Job Summary:

The Sr. HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing work intake, gathering requirements, stakeholder management, and drafting user stories for IT. This role will closely partner with HR and IT teams to ensure the successful implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems, business processes, and coordinate the resolution of system issues.

Job responsibilities:
Work Intake Management :

Oversee the intake of work requests, ensuring they are properly documented , sized, and prioritized.

Requirements Gathering :

Partner with HR Business (HR Generalist Functions, Talent Acquisition, Core HCM, and Payroll) to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements and new features. Draft clear and concise Jira user stories for IT development, ensuring they accurately reflect business needs and requirements.

Stakeholder Management :

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment of project goals and timelines.

HRIS Support:

Provide troubleshooting and feature support to HR users and the HR Support Center Tier 2 Team.

Data Integrity :

Ensure the accuracy and security of employee data in HR and downstream systems , conducting regular audits, and resolving discrepancies . Partner with the HR C ompliance team to maintain Workday s ecurity g roups and geographic data.

Process Improvement :

Identify opportunities for improvements and implement best practices to enhance HR system functionalities . Research, test, and support the deployment of AI Workday features.

Compliance :

Ensure compliance with defined SOPs and regulatory requirements, consulting with compliance and technical teams as needed.

Problem Management :

Address and resolve HR-related issues that may be non-standard within defined practices and procedures.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or Human Resources 5+ years of Workday HCM experience. Implementation of HCM solutions for global organizations is a plus . Workday certifications are a plus . Experience developing and analyzing HR requirements; retail industry preferred. Possesses a solid understanding of business processes related to HR, Compensation and Payroll , and T alent Acquisition f unctions. Experience with HR localization for North American and APAC countries preferred. Solid understanding of relational databases and reporting, HR application configuration, access control, data migration , calculated fields, and EIBs . Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers at all levels of management. Solution-oriented and adaptable to changing environments and business compliance requirements. Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, take initiative, work well under pressure, and maintain HR confidentiality. Understanding RESTful, SOAP, and RaaS integration s . Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills are needed with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Location & Work Availability:

This position is Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote), based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina. Flexibility for occasional travel may be required .
