Ground TurkeyJob Summary:
Onboarding trainerswill assist with all aspects of onboarding for newly hired teammembers. Trainers will mentor new team members, providing guidanceand support. Onboarding trainers will help ensure our new teammembers acquire the skills, knowledge, and behaviors to becomeproductive members of our team. Specifically, trainers will conducton-the-Job training with new team members, instructing them on howto perform production job tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Thetrainer will monitor injury prevention aspects of the facilityonboarding program as well as participate in our onboardingengagement process.
- -Onboarding trainers will work closely withthe onboarding specialist to help our new team members adjust totheir new work environment.

Essential Functions, Duties, andResponsibilities:
- Coordinate with the departmental supervisor andonboarding specialist regarding the placement of newly hired teammembers.
Work with departmental Onboarding specialist to ensure newteam members participate in onboarding Injury Prevention, whichincludes the new team member Ramp In work schedule, strength andstretching exercises, Start-up Soreness Education, coordinatingupper-extremity massage appointments, Hand Grip Testing, etc.
Trainnew team members on the correct techniques required to performtheir assigned job task, including a review of our OJT (on-the-jobtraining documents) as well as the job safety analysis for eachassigned job task.
Ensure new team members understand the correctusage of work tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and goodmanufacturing practices.
Work with onboarding specialists anddepartmental management staff to ensure associates can performtheir job tasks correctly and safely, as well as provide supportfor other production line team members needing refreshertraining.
Monitor new team members’ progress regarding their jobperformance. Keep onboarding specialists, team leads, anddepartmental supervisor informed of any behavioral or trainingissues that affect the new team members performance.
Document Newteam member’s job performance progress and provide input on jobperformance status.
Work with the onboarding specialist and helpadminister weekly onboarding check-in questions for new teammembers.
Work with the onboarding specialist and departmentalsupervisor to assist with monthly topics or departmental trainingas assigned: notice to employees, translation, and assistance withrosters and training as needed.
Follow established job instructionand training methods and provide translation as needed.
Otherresponsibilities as assigned by the department onboardingspecialist and/or human resources.
