Assists with the administration ofHR policies, procedures, and programs. Supports in a specializedarea like employee relations, workforce planning and recruitment,training and development, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintainsaccurate physical and electronic records such as new hirepaperwork, training, attendance, disciplinary actions, leave ofabsence, applicant tracking, etc
  • Updates HRIS data as needed(i.e., address, internal transfers or promotions, pay changes,etc.
  • Helps coordinate, schedule, and prepare presentationmaterials and reports for meetings, training sessions, etc. Assistswith internal and external audits and regulatory reporting
  • Assists with creating HR related communications. Updates electroniccommunication channels, bulletins boards, and other platforms tofacilitate HR-related communications
  • Respectfullyengages with candidates, team members, and leaders to addressroutine inquiries and concerns
  • Supports employee relationsissues which may include investigation, documentation, orcoordinating of disciplinary actions
  • Supports recruiting andonboarding activities which may include drafting or editing jobdescriptions, composing job posting for entry level roles,screening applications/resumes, conducting phone screenings,preparing documentation for job offers, overseeing preemploymentscreening process, overseeing the assignment and upkeep of plantlockers, etc
  • Coordinates and facilitates new employeeorientation (NEO) and other training sessions as required
  • Assists with the planning and coordination of employer sponsoredevents
  • Provides administrative support for HR programssuch as benefits administration and annual open enrollment, talentmanagement reviews and goal setting, annual compensation cycles,etc
  • Provides support to HR programs focused on teammember engagement, such as conducting roundtables and focusesgroups, administering surveys, organizing data, generating reports,etc.

Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience

  • Highschooldiploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee may be regularlyrequired to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and usehands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, andoccasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilitiesrequired by this job include close vision, distance vision, depthperception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WorkingConditions

  • Work will be performed in a variety of conditionsincluding climate-controlled office environment(s); in amanufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such ascold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other siteconditions; and in a farm environment including working outdoors inseasonal conditions with live animals and at times in dustyenvironments.

This position requires the individual to wear andwork in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturingand farm environment. This individual may be working around sick ordiseased animals where additional precautions may need to betaken

  • The noise level of the office and farm environment isusually moderate. The noise level in the manufacturing environmentmay exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection. Showering in andout of farm locations may be required
  • Minimal regional travelmay be required.
