OVERVIEW

:
Case Farms is currently recruiting for an Orientation Trainer that can effectively work with the Human Resources team at Case Farms. The ideal candidate would have the responsibility of implementing New Hire Orientation for all new employees. The Orientation Trainer must develop leadership, facilitation, communication, and public relations skills by assisting new employees as they transition into the workplace. This team member will act as the face of Case Farms for all newly hired employees and must exemplify a professional demeanor.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

:
Coordinates and facilitates orientation and annual training using Alchemy system.
Ensure all employees starting work have a complete understanding of Case Farms’ processes, safety procedures, and food safety procedures.
Administers orientation and onboarding program.
Communicates Company policies and procedures to employees.
Maintains new hire paperwork and tracks all training records.
May be required to give new hires plant tour, show safety access, and egress routes, and assist with on-the-floor training issues.
Ensure new hires have knowledge of the Personal Protective Equipment necessary for their position and how to properly don, doff and use required PPE.
Set up schedules for training times and complete all annual training(s).
Correspond with all levels of management throughout the facility to ensure training plans are communicated and issues are addressed.
Assist in the implementation of orientation programs for new and transferring employees.
Facilitate and lead group discussions with employees to facilitate communication of complaints, concerns, or updates on workplace improvement.
Support and participate in HR/Clerical group meetings. Assist in the set-up and arrangements for orientation events and job fairs. Attend training sessions for employee orientation leaders.
Adhere to the Orientation Leader Contract in regard to policies, personal and professional conduct, and attitude.
Ability to communicate with your orientation group through written, oral, and/or video materials.
Assist the Employment Supervisor with daily tasks such as calling candidates and scheduling interviews. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

:
Ability to understand and effectively communicate with employees.
Bilingual – (English and Spanish) is a plus but isn’t required. Strong written skills, correct grammar. Ability to learn Case Farms’ programs, policies, and procedures.
Availability to participate fully in all orientation programs, including training sessions.
Ability to manage time and information in a high-paced environment.
Ability to maintain a positive, flexible, and adaptable working style.
Ability to accept and respond to constructive feedback.
Effective interpersonal skills: assertive, helpful, sensitive, and tactful in working with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Project a positive image of service which represents Case Farms
A willingness to maintain a high level of competence.
Discreet judgment and confidentiality are expected.

:

When Giving Plant Tours:

Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
Exposure to dust, feathers, and chemicals used in the poultry processing facility.
May climb steps to access and egress through the production environment.
