Compensation Base pay range:

$45,040.00/yr – $61,376.00/yr •Eligibility for application is limited to certain civil service titles and programs. The position may be eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week under the Remote Work Pilot Program. About the Department The department aims to protect and improve the economic lives of New Yorkers by licensing businesses, enforcing consumer and workplace laws, and supporting community empowerment through outreach and policy advocacy. Position Overview The Human Capital unit supports agency employees and programs. The selected Human Capital Associate will assist with initiatives, reports, workflows, and records related to Workforce Development. This role offers growth in Human Resources and Workforce Development. Responsibilities Assist with compliance and performance management protocols Support development and tracking of performance evaluations and reports Help monitor staff performance records and develop improvement plans Support ePerformance system inquiries Coordinate job performance training and new hire orientation Assist with eLearning accounts and manage training content Support program strategy, research external training opportunities, and enhance engagement Maintain LinkedIn Learning records and learning paths Ensure file management compliance with NYS Records Retention policies Assist with HR system updates, employment verification, and special events Support onboarding sessions and agency policy presentations Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills and Preferred Skills Typing proficiency of at least 100 keystrokes per minute Experience with NYC HR systems (NYCAPS/PeopleSoft, CHRMS, PMS) Strong analytical, research, writing, organizational, and data management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and multitasking abilities Additional Information This position is open to qualified persons with a disability under the 55-a Program.
