Position Summary:
The HR Generalist at +MEDRITE plays a pivotal role in supporting a wide range of HR operations across the organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance, streamlining HR functions, managing benefits administration, supporting employees, and collaborating on cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced healthcare environment, possessing strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Operations Oversee pre-employment background checks for all incoming employees. Manage the distribution of onboarding links for all clinical staff, providers, projects, salaried roles, and concierge medicine (excluding corporate and Monsey, as per payroll direction). Coordinate uniform distribution for all applicable employees. Facilitate employee badge creation and access granting in collaboration with IT/Security. Serve as the primary responder for the HR Freshdesk ticketing system , including employment verifications, W-2 requests, and general inquiries. Administration -Benefits Act as the point of contact for all employee benefits matters, including liaising with brokers and insurance carriers. Administer insurance platforms such as Ease and MetLife, and handle enrollments for medical, dental, vision, Aflac, and
S/TD/LTD
plans. Manage open enrollment , process qualifying events, submit updated census data, and track coverage changes and terminations. Administer leave management, including FMLA, disability, Paid Family Leave (PFL), Workers’ Compensation, and accommodations in partnership with HR leadership. (Head of People and Culture supports oversight.) Process special pay requests such as COVID-related pay (through July 31, 2025, pending updates), bereavement, and jury duty compensation. Communications (in collaboration with the Communications team) Assist with the preparation and distribution of the monthly company-wide Brand Update. Monitor and respond to inquiries via the HR communications inbox. Draft and distribute internal HR-related memos as needed. Project-Based HR Work Support HR-related projects, including monitoring inboxes related to initiatives like HERRC. Handle ad hoc HR and benefits requests within the generalist scope. Concierge Program Support Execute HR tasks for Concierge Program employees, including background checks, onboarding, and badge access. Assist with credentialing for RNs in the program. Monitor and verify Concierge team time sheets for HQ-based staff to ensure accuracy and timely payroll submission.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or high-volume service environment. Strong understanding of benefits administration, leave management, and compliance. Proficient in HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Ease, MetLife, ADP, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
