Position Summary:
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager, HR Systems & Operations to manage HR systems, programs, and technology solutions. In this role, you will report to the Director of HR operations and play a key role in overseeing HR technology initiatives from implementation to ongoing optimization, ensuring alignment with business needs and employee experience. You will serve as a bridge between HR, the technology team, and external vendors, driving integration projects, process improvements, and scalable solutions that enable HR to operate more effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
HR Technology & Operations Manage day-to-day operations of core HR systems such as LMS or performance evaluation software. Maintain HR applications including system upgrades, security, and configuration, including relevant BI reporting capabilities. Analyze and recommend scalable solutions to improve firm’s efficiency, workflows and processes using technology. Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to improve HR service delivery. Ensure system compliance with employment laws, data security and privacy requirements. Lead HR technology and transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes. Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications. System Integrations & Data Management Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Benefits) and third-party vendors to manage HR integrations. Build new integrations (SFTP, API, encryption, test automation) to support the deployment of new HR tools and solve some of HR’s most critical tasks. Liaise with IT to execute scalable integration strategies that align with IT enterprise architecture, data governance program and business goals. Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across HR systems and integrations within your scope. Support the HR operations team to translate HR business needs into system requirements and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
Education:
College degree preferred with major in Human Resources, Information Systems or related fields, and project management a plus.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in system management within IT or HR, HR technology project management roles with solid experience in managing system integrations and data flow between multiple platforms.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong experience and knowledge of HR-related software and databases such as ServiceNow, UKG, BI Cognos. Experience with writing SQL Queries and HCM Table Structure. Knowledge in technical
HRIS/HRIT
configurations, reporting, and enhancements. Autonomous with the ability to use independent judgment, problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, creative. People skills, effectively communicate with and present to all levels of management and peers. Organizational skills with the ability to deliver excellence within budget and in a timely manner. High degree of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. New York Salary Range $135,000—$160,000 USD
