People Relations Specialist (On-Site) – NSR Can-Am Consultants New York, NY 10003 Our clients digital currency wallet and platform are where merchants and consumers can transact with new digital currencies like bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin. Their vision is to bring more innovation, efficiency, and equality of opportunity to the world by building an open financial system. Our clients first step on that journey is making digital currency accessible and approachable for everyone. Currently, they are looking to add a People Relations Specialist to their team in New York, NY.
Duties :
The People Relations Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining a productive and compliant workplace by supporting managers and employees on HR policies and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The position focuses on supporting early to mid-level managers in performance and exit processes, policies effectively. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Provide support to employees and managers (M6 and below), applying company HR policies and procedures to answer questions and resolve cases
- Guide and coach managers/employees through complex underperformance management cases, while ensuring we remain compliant with regional laws and regulations
- Ensure managers are following company performance management procedures, including documentation, case management and corrective action plans
- Facilitate employee exits, including performance and reduction in workforce cases
- Work with cross-functional teams, as needed, to resolve cases (ie legal; ER; benefits; HRBPs)
- Maintain People Relations playbooks and processes, working with key stakeholders for input and sign-off
- Analyze HR and process data to identify trends and inform recommendations What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in human resources
- Intermediate understanding of HR principles, HR-related laws and regulations
- Experience guiding managers through performance management processes
- Excellent problem solver
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within team
- Ability to develop clear and concise verbal and written communications (English required)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience succeeding in fast-paced environments (e.g. you make things happen by breaking through brick walls)
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload; ability to multitask and meet deadlines with quality product
- Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment Nice to haves:
- Experience working closely with cross functional teams and partners like legal and HRBPs
- Comfortable working in fast paced performance management environment
