The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human capital management, ensuring that our organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong data analysis skills and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Personnel Assistant will play a crucial role in succession planning and talent management initiatives. Duties Manage the recruitment process including interviewing candidates and facilitating onboarding procedures. Develop and implement effective human capital management strategies that align with organizational goals. Conduct data collection and analysis to inform HR decisions and improve workforce planning. Utilize HR software such as Paylocity and PeopleSoft for managing employee records and payroll processes. Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop succession planning strategies. Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Lead talent management initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance, and development. Present HR metrics and reports to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement. Qualifications • Proven experience in human resources or personnel management roles. Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate fit effectively. Excellent data collection and analysis skills to support decision-making processes. Familiarity with HR software systems such as Paylocity and PeopleSoft is preferred. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively in various HR contexts. Experience in succession planning and talent management practices is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
