HR Specialist Position Available In Westchester, New York

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Valhalla, New York. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to key HR functions, including system management, onboarding processes, and employee engagement initiatives. The position requires independence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing various HR-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Support and manage HR processes within the HRIS system, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data handling.
• Oversee and enhance onboarding workflows to create a seamless experience for new hires.
• Coordinate benefits administration, including open enrollment periods and employee inquiries.
• Develop and execute employee engagement strategies, including maintaining calendars and creating promotional materials such as flyers.
• Assist with general HR tasks, such as employee relations and compliance.
• Provide guidance and oversight for various HR projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure HR practices align with organizational goals.
• Monitor and improve workflows to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a resource for HR-related inquiries and support ongoing initiatives. Requirements
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Specialist.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms, with preferred experience in Rippling.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations.
• Familiarity with benefits administration, including open enrollment procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in creating promotional materials and managing engagement calendars.
