Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled and resourceful Human Resources (HR) Representative II to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will handle complex HR-related inquiries and processes, ensuring accurate interpretation of policies, payroll matters, and employee relations concerns. This virtual position offers an opportunity to collaborate with multiple HR departments while enhancing team alignment and service quality.
Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve escalated HR inquiries, including complex payroll and tax-related matters, while interpreting company policies and guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve unique employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and HR standards.
- Collaborate with HR Advisors and other departments to streamline processes and enhance team alignment.
- Lead the support and integration of new services and projects across designated departments.
- Update and maintain departmental databases to improve efficiency and empower HR Advisors to manage inbound inquiries effectively.
- Identify opportunities for team training and knowledge-sharing to improve overall service quality.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to optimize resource utilization.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced representatives and new team members as required.
- Ensure consistent attendance, including availability for nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational needs. Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in human resources or related fields.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle complex inquiries and deliver resolutions.
- Proficiency in HR administration, including payroll, policy interpretation, and employee relations.
- Experience with database management and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR departments and business partners to achieve team alignment.
- Knowledge of service level agreements (SLAs) and HR systems.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
