Onboarding Specialist EnviroServe – 2.3 Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Qualifications Employment & labor law Employee orientation High school diploma or GED Organizational skills Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description The Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new team members at EnviroServe. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the onboarding process, from pre-hire preparations to post-hire follow-ups, ensuring compliance and a seamless transition into the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely setup of new hire access to systems, email, equipment, and other resources. Partner with hiring managers to complete all necessary new hire documentation. Collect and manage FMCSA documentation to maintain compliant Driver Qualification (DQ) files. Maintain and update onboarding checklists and workflows in company systems, adjusting tasks and timelines as needed. Lead Day 1 orientation sessions and conduct regular check-ins to support new hire integration. Track and analyze onboarding metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with hiring managers and People Business Partners to customize onboarding experiences based on role, location, and department. •
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Working knowledge of employment eligibility processes (Form I-9/E-Verify) and basic labor laws. Familiarity with FMCSA guidelines and DQ file requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding schedules and priorities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed. EnviroServe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
