Recruiter/HR Generalist 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars McElhattan, PA We are seeking a Recruiter/HR Generalist for our McElhattan, PA Campus. This position will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent for manufacturing and production roles within the organization. This role will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop strategic recruitment plans, and utilize various sourcing methods to find candidates. Additionally, this role may also provide support to the Human Resource department for activities such as team member engagement, benefit coordination, special events, etc.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

Oversee hourly full life-cycle recruitment process, which includes arranging and conducting interviews, tracking all openings, collaborates with supervisors to align on hiring decisions, and manage pre-employment process. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and internet sites. Attend job fairs and coordinate recruitment events to maximize recruitment efforts. Collaborates with the Creative Design team for recruitment marketing materials. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide insights for HR recruiting initiatives. Ensure policies are current, in compliance with HR laws, and team members are advised of any changes. Assist with maintaining electronic personnel files. Collaborate with external vendors for HR related services.

Secondary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Onboard hourly and salary team members, educating them on HR policies and procedures. Assist with team member engagement and provide recommendations to management. Collaborates with supervisors to ensure proper discipline is administered to team members in a timely manner who are in violation of policy. Participates in team member counseling sessions and terminations. Participates in harassment/disciplinary investigations. Regularly spends time on production floor to be available to all team members. Provides general administrative support to the HR department as needed. Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines. Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

Education and experience requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field experience. Prior experience as an HR Recruiter in a manufacturing setting (preferred) Knowledge of HR Laws and regulations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced computer skills Problem solving skills and resourceful thinking Leadership and coaching skills Strong empathy and interpersonal skills Detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills First Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.
