Full-Time, Exempt Join a Mission-Driven Organization That Makes a Difference The Sisters of Mercy of the Americas is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to support and enhance our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This critical role ensures system functionality, data integrity, and analytical reporting that empowers HR programs and organizational decision-making. You’ll be part of a compassionate, values-based organization that responds to the needs of those who are poor, sick, and uneducated — and your work will support the Sisters’ mission of mercy, justice, and service. To be successful in this role, applicants must demonstrate the following:
Direct HRIS Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with HRIS systems such as UKG, ADP, Workday, or similar platforms.
System Implementation Expertise:
Proven experience implementing or supporting HRIS solutions , including involvement in new module rollouts, upgrades, or system integrations.
Process Documentation:
Experience creating training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides to support system adoption and consistency.
End-User Training:
Demonstrated ability to train HR staff and end users on system functionalities, ensuring clear communication of technical information to diverse audiences. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Maintain and support HRIS functionality including system configuration, security, and user roles Lead or support HR technology enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and vendor coordination Create documentation for system processes, workflows, and training materials Provide training and technical support to HR and system users Develop and deliver both standard and custom reports and dashboards Conduct data audits and implement improvements for integrity and compliance Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and optimize workflows Serve as a subject matter expert and system administrator for HRIS platforms Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and internal policies What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field 3-5 years of experience working with HRIS platforms (UKG, ADP, Dayforce, Workday, etc.) Strong knowledge of HR functions such as payroll, compensation, benefits, and talent management Proficiency in reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or platform-specific) and SQL Strong documentation, auditing, and troubleshooting skills Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences clearly High attention to detail and ability to maintain data confidentiality Excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and support end-users Preferred Qualifications HRIS certifications (e.g., CHP, PMP) Broader HR knowledge or experience in data analytics, compensation, or benefits Prior experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or religious organizations Understanding of Catholic Church structures and values aligned with the mission of the Sisters of Mercy Position Perks Telecommute flexibility Opportunity to contribute to a faith-based mission Collaborative, supportive HR team Meaningful work that impacts communities across the U.S. About the Sisters of Mercy Sustained and inspired by their relationship with God and one another, the Sisters of Mercy respond with compassion and vision to the needs of the most vulnerable.
