HR Generalist The Human Resources Generalist will support some of the corporate functions within FMC to ensure they are successful in continuing to build and enhance their functional areas. As such, this role will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with leadership in supporting the organization. Responsibilities Partner with functional heads/leaders on aligning HR practices with strategic business initiatives and organizational goals. Identify and establish relationships with key clients and stakeholders across the corporate functions. Develop a network of HR and business relationships to facilitate knowledge sharing, transfer and completion of key deliverables. Work collaboratively with HRBP team to support programs and practices that allow the company to attract “top talent” in a cost effective and timely manner. Support change management initiatives and acting as a change agent to drive business results, including process improvement, organizational design and realignment. Manage day to day employee/manager relations and performance management. Coach managers to improve employee performance by utilizing effective coaching techniques. Provide guidance and support in administering human resources policies and procedures to ensure that employees receive fair and reasonable treatment to establish a supportive work environment. Evaluate and implement programs for organizational development assuring retention and competitiveness in the job market. Act as a trusted advisor for corporate leaders. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems. Work closely with all human resources colleagues and engage them to share knowledge and best practices. Operate as an HR team member, working on special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience Prior HR experience with strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Proficiency in MS Office Suite
