SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will serve as a strategic day to day tactical partner with senior leadership within an assigned business unit. This individual will develop and nurture this partnership in order to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention. The position will be responsible for delivering a high level of human resource expertise on employee relations, performance management and other critical issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide basic to advanced coaching and development to front line leadership.
Assist business unit leaders in providing employees with appropriate development opportunities.
Manage and resolveplex employee relations issues under the guidance of HR Sr Leadership.
Provide support expert advice on succession planning and talent mobility.
Support performance management process.
Provide HR policy guidance.
Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop policies, programs, and solutions.
Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions.
Act as liaison with Corporate Compensation regarding merit increase process andpensation issues.
Interview senior-exempt level candidates.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily working indoors.
May sit/stand for several hours at a time.
Frequent change and/or interruptions, responding to highly stressful situations requiring immediate action, independent judgment, and superior problem-solving abilities.
Prolonged exposure toputer screens.
Repetitive use of hands to operateputers, printers, and copiers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management or a related field.
One to three years of experience as a human resources generalist, or related experience with employee coaching, staffing and development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in recruitment, selection, training,pensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
Background in curriculum and training design, group/individual instruction, and training metrics.
Workday experience is a plus.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Sound understanding of organizational design elements.
Expertise with job analysis, agile organizational design, job design and strategic workforce planning.
Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Understanding of human resources related laws and government regulations.
In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatorypliance.
