Responsibilities:
Use knowledge of, and experience with global projects concerning corporate mergers, acquisitions and/or divestitures, including but not limited to implementing a new cross charging model to support the Request for Purchase (RFP) process, including vendor evaluation process and implementation process for a new HR IT system, Human Resources (HR) program rollouts, Cloud based Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) systems and processes, and the implementation of global initiatives and understanding regional needs in the automotive manufacturing industry to improve HR programs and produce efficiency, in collaboration and coordination with the HR department management and colleagues. Support project milestones
and deliverables. Determine need for external project resources. Coordinate external resources, as needed. Assess current HR programs, identify areas for improvement, develop objectives and plans of action, support implementation of action plans. Create a continuous improvement culture within HR, supporting the team through the HR Knowledge Hub to identify processes for improvement and coordinate change in response to business requirements. Support the annual performance and potential review process for the organization and instruct managers on their responsibilities. Prepare all documents for company HR conference. Ensure success of HR programs, processes, and employee communication initiatives on topics
such as: Manager Qualification Assessments, Talent Management, Process Management, HR Social Intranet Page, Internal Services portal, HCM Cloud implementation, and HR Target Operating Model implementation. Identify improvements on the workflow/processes and support HR team to implement necessary changes in systems like HR ServiceNow, process management software, PeopleSoft and Workday. Update performance evaluation systems. Facilitate workshops on a variety of business and HR topics in support of company objectives. Leverage existing relationships across Mercedes-Benz to influence effective decision-making. Support the management evaluation processes, ensuring clear communication and effective
execution. Act as the point of contact to other related corporate entities. Train managers and leaders across the business to improve communication strategies and channels across departments and between employees/management. Partner with managers and specialists throughout the business using strong relationships to resolve more complex issues, ultimately reducing escalations ensuring compliance. Using Executive PowerPoint delivery, analyze and interpret a high volume of urgent and ongoing business process issues and make recommendations to CEO and senior management and the wider HR team in relation to system updates and process improvements. Communicate new initiatives and changes to management, department heads, and executive board using the highest level of executive presentation methodologies. Assign duties or responsibilities to project stakeholders, monitor performance, and provide feedback. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must have Bachelor’s in Business Management, Human Resources or Project Management, or foreign equivalency plus five (5) years of employment experience evidencing demonstrable ability to perform the stated duties. Must have experience implementing cloud-based HR IT systems with a global scope Must have HR experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, including mergers, acquisitions and/or divestitures. Must document completion of training in the following: project management; professional conflict and complaint management. New hires subject to drug test and background check. 5% international and domestic travel may be required.
