Job Description

As a Senior HR Generalist here at PIP-HSP, North Charleston manufacturing site, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support. You will be responsible for managing various HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and HR policies. Your expertise in HR practices and regulations will ensure compliance and drive the success of our HR initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR programs that support our business objectives. You will report directly to our HR America’s Regional Director, this role requires a hands-on, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by driving employee engagement, fostering a positive work culture, and supporting the development and retention of our talented workforce.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Support all people leaders with the management of employee relations, including handling employee inquiries, investigations, and conflict resolution. + Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. + Collaborate with Operations and Finance to develop headcount forecasts and ensure workforce planning supports business objectives. + Partner with talent acquisition team to attract and select top talent for the organization. + Coordinate onboarding and orientation process to ensure smooth integration of new hires. + Collaborate with HSE to support workplace safety programs. + Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements. + Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support business objectives. + Analyze workforce trends and metrics to support strategic decision-making. + Hire, Promote and Terminate Employees + Mentor and Advise + Review Performance Management Process Annually + Evaluate Pay

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT

+ Employee Relations

  • skilled at conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering a respectful work environment + Recruitment & Onboarding
  • experience with high-volume and skilled trade hiring; effective onboarding practices + HR Compliance
  • strong understanding of federal and state labor laws and regulations + HR System & Reporting
