Primary Function The DEI Program Specialist will support and collaborate with the Community Investment team, corporate leadership, and employee groups and advance our efforts to make Newrez a great place to work. Principal Duties:

. Expand and support measurable impact of inclusivity and empowerment on business outcomes through Newrez’s DEI Initiative. Advise and support the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and ERG Leadership Council. Develop, build, and maintain relationships with external organizations and networks to expand our organization’s visibility in these areas. Partner with Recruiting and HR to create goal-driven strategies that support the attraction, retention, and promotion of underrepresented demographics within the company Implement new programs that will embrace diversity and create inclusivity within the company. Research and propose best practices, innovative approaches, notable programs of industry peers, etc. and make recommendations to the Manager of DEI. Coordinate and drive participation in events, days of observation, and programs managed by Community Investment, with particular emphasis on ERG programming. Collaborate with Newrez NOW program to implement inclusive giving campaigns and volunteer opportunities. Participate in select industry events, representing the organization professionally. Measure and regularly report status and metrics of Community Investment programs, projects, and activities, with emphasis on DEI. Work across the Community Investment team to support external partnerships with nonprofits, professional organizations, etc. where needed. Assist the various internal teams with special projects as required and perform other job duties as assigned by management. Travel may be required. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Supervisory experience with at least 2 years’ experience in project management, logistics, program administration or event management required. Demonstrated understanding of DEI concepts and practices, including experience working with underrepresented groups and creating inclusive environments. Experience in community organizing and coalition-building. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Be able to clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to a varied audience, including the operations staff and senior leadership. The ability to establish rapport and relate sensitively to a multiracial and multicultural group of partners Possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team Ability to speak publicly and present information to large and small groups. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt and work flexibly among teams with different stakeholders and objectives. Self-motivated, creative thinker with excellent organizational skills. Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. Demonstrates conflict management/resolution capabilities. Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task. Strong skills in MS Office Suite.
