Overview
As an HR Specialist supporting Alloy Group, you’ll play a strategic and hands-on role in delivering HR solutions in the areas of employee engagement, talent acquisition, compliance, training, and overall HR operations. The HR Specialist partners directly with leadership to foster a positive work environment and ensure our policies and practices align with HTI’s goals and employment laws.
Essential Job Functions
Talent Acquisition:
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key business functions.
Enhance employer branding through social media campaigns, job boards, and local outreach efforts.
Employee Engagement & Relations:
Support initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity.
Serve as a confidential resource for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Provide coaching to managers on performance management, recognition, and development strategies.
HR Operations & Compliance:
Administer HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization.
Support compliance programs including FMLA, ADAAA, and other federal and state mandates.
Conduct audits to ensure HR practices meet internal standards and legal requirements.
Training & Development:
Facilitate employee and leadership training on HR-related topics and compliance.
Partner with managers to assess training needs and deliver development solutions.
Strategic & Project-Based Support:
Lead or support HR projects such as site launches, workforce planning, and process improvements.
Act as a liaison between branch teams and corporate HR to ensure strategic alignment.
Proactively identify HR risks and recommend solutions to optimize effectiveness.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Work Environment & Travel:
This role supports multiple locations and requires regular travel for audits, site visits, and training delivery. Candidates must be comfortable in both office and manufacturing settings and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
