Job Summary:

Artisan Kitchens is looking for a Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist for 3-6 months to assist in the HR Department. You will collaborate closely with various departments to coordinate resources, conduct interviews, conduct orientation sessions and address logistical needs. Your exceptional communication skills will be vital in effectively communicating our company’s culture, policies and procedures to recruits. Additionally, you will facilitate connections between new employees and their colleagues, promoting collaboration and a sense of belonging within our company by working on projects to develop a new hire training and orientation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead recruitment efforts to build a 2nd shift Develop and update job descriptions in collaboration with department managers. Post job openings on relevant platforms and manage applicant tracking systems effectively. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview scheduling with hiring teams. Assist with candidate evaluations, background checks, drug testing, and offer negotiations. Coordinate pre-employment physicals with local physicians. Ensure recruitment processes comply with all employment laws and regulations. Provide resources and information to support a seamless onboarding experience. Design and implement onboarding programs aligned with the company’s mission, values, and culture. Conduct new hire orientation sessions; provide company overviews and gather feedback to improve onboarding. Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records. Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding journey. Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions for new employees. Facilitate the completion of new hire documentation, including offer letters and benefits enrollment. Monitor new hires’ integration progress, identify challenges, and provide necessary support. Lead community relations and outreach initiatives, including attending job fairs, fostering college and local school relationships, and building partnerships with local organizations.

Required Qualificaitons:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree 3 plus years of experience in recruitment and onboarding roles. Strong knowledge of onboarding best practices, HR policies, and employment regulations. Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple onboarding tracks simultaneously. Adaptable and flexible to meet the diverse needs of new employees. Experience collaborating with cross-functional and remote teams. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or ISTD). Proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience with HR analytics for data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
