HR Generalist 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 1583 Homestead Rd, Bowman, SC 29018 Palmetto Corp is seeking a self-motivated and experienced HR Generalist to support our HR Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of HR Tasks. If you are a professional with a strong sense of discretion and a background in HR, we want to hear from you.
Duties and Responsibilities Could Include:
Assisting with recruiting and retention New Hire orientation/paperwork Employee relations Benefits Administration (401k, Insurance, Vacation, Christmas Club, EAP Program, Holiday) Ensuring legal compliance in all areas Assisting with training and development programs Policy Development and implementation FMCSA Drivers Qualification Compliance – DOT Physicals, MVR Records, Violation review, qualification files Reviewing and approving company approved drivers Employee surveys/interviews EEO – Site meetings, Stage Type Inspections, EEO Boards Assisting with employee recognition programs Employee Turnover and Trend Tracking Perform administrative work such as scheduling and maintaining files Enter employment data into computer database Contact references and perform background checks Required skills/qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive Attitude Spreadsheet preparation and tracking skills Presentation skills Advanced problem solving and critical thinking Decision making skills Interpersonal skills Detail oriented Experience preferred: Related degree or certification preferred 2-3 years’ related experience Palmetto Corp is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
