2 Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking an energetic, self-driven, and team-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys thinking proactively to support staff and organizational goals. You’ll be a key part of a collaborative HR department, supporting employees, managers, and new hires across multiple functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll processing, and employee relations. What You’ll Do Supportive. Collaborative. Essential. You’ll bring structure, care, and energy to our HR operations, including: Day-to-Day HR Support Respond to employee questions and support daily HR needs Coordinate new hire orientation, including bi-weekly travel to Darlington, SC Conduct I-9 verifications and compliance audits Manage and organize employee files and HR documents Assist with onboarding, terminations, and benefit enrollments Submit background checks and maintain accurate tracking Administrative & Compliance Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all personnel matters (HIPAA, federal/state laws) Maintain and update internal HR checklists, trackers, and filing systems Support payroll and benefits administration Generate reports on attendance, compliance, and HR analytics Perform clerical tasks like filing, scanning, mailing, and phones Innovate & Lead Identify and implement improvements in HR processes Lead or support recruitment strategies, job postings, and college outreach Analyze staffing data and support intern program management Engage in employee onboarding and engagement initiatives Serve as a trusted HR resource for employee relations issues Partner with leadership to ensure a positive, compliant, and high-performing work culture What You Bring Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent required Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred 1+ years of HR, customer service, or business office experience (medical setting a plus) HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) Skills & Strengths Professional, proactive, and approachable Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask effectively Confident using Microsoft Office and HR software/tools Ability to thrive with minimal supervision and meet deadlines Flexible and solution-focused with a passion for teamwork Work Environment Office setting with use of computer up to 6 hours/day Occasional travel required (10%) to nearby locations Must be comfortable adapting to change and managing multiple priorities Why Join Us?
