The Analyst, Total Rewards,will support colleagues with their inquiries regarding benefits, leaves of absence and other total rewards areas. A positive attitude and excellent follow-through are a must. This role will also serve as a back-up to payroll and troubleshoot HRIS issues related to benefits, time off and other areas. Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support for benefits programs, including new hire enrollment, eligibility and compliance. Ensure accurate and timely communication with employees and vendors. Lead the annual Open Enrollment process, including planning, communication, colleague education to drive engagement and understanding of benefit offerings. Assist with configuration and thorough testing of Open Enrollment/Life Event sessions to ensure a smooth process for colleagues. Manage employee Life Events such as marriage, birth, adoption, and other qualifying events to ensure timely and accurate benefits changes. Identify and resolve issues within the DayForce HRIS system related to benefits, PTO, and other areas, partnering with HR, Payroll, and HRIS to implement solutions. Assist colleagues with navigating the leaves of absence process acting as a liaison with the Leave Management vendor and providing guidance on required steps. Assist with analyzing data related to benefits, payroll, leaves and workers compensation to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to enhance processes and communication with relevant stakeholders. Serve as a backup for payroll processing, through our managed support vendor, ensuring timely and accurate payment to colleagues. Assist with payroll-related inquiries and issues when necessary. Provide excellent customer service to colleagues, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to benefits, leaves, and payroll.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Intensely curious and interested in gaining knowledge in Human Resources and healthcare Strong understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures Knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processes, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation. Working knowledge of payroll, interest/experience in Compensation or People Analytics a plus Proficiency in HRIS Systems, DayForce experience preferred.
