We are looking for someone with exceptional payroll and customer service experience who is dedicated, friendly and professional. As one of the Phalcon companies , we deliver full scope, turn-key electrical infrastructure projects to all types and sizes of commercial customers across the Middle Tennessee region.

Responsibilities:
  • Weekly internal full-cycle payroll processing for ~100 employees. Hours are submitted by Supervisors, Assistant Project Managers, Warehouse, and Service Managers by 9 AM each Monday.
  • Weekly hours processing for 30-50 contract laborers. Hours are also submitted by the same managers by 9 AM each Monday.
  • Submit weekly reports for each contract agency by noon on Monday.
  • Cross-check employee lists with timecards/reports and follow up to obtain any missing submissions.
  • Track contract worker metrics.
  • Share HR duties with the Controller, including onboarding, applicant tracking, and benefit changes.
  • Reconcile weekly PTO balances with the ERP system.
  • Reconcile monthly insurance invoices against employee payroll deductions.
  • Answer incoming operator calls, greet visitors, and support the Accounting Team with ad hoc tasks.
  • Maintain and manage PTO and conference room calendars.
  • Provide administrative support for management and assist with special projects.
  • Coordinate lunch and logistics for visitors, meetings, and company events. Qualifications
  • 5+ years of payroll processing, from timecard entry to ERP batch posting and final reconciliation (Vista by Viewpoint preferred).
  • 3+ years of electronic onboarding experience.
  • Experience with Vista by Viewpoint payroll system (a plus).
  • Background in construction payroll, including job cost allocation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office Suite), Adobe, Excel, and other standard office software.
  • Dependable, punctual, and ready to work each day.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug test and background screening. Benefits
