Talent Buyer / Event and Sales Manager The Trimble Nashville, TN Job Details Full-time $40,000 – $55,000 a year 11 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Sales Event manager experience Mid-level Sales experience (1-2 years) Trimble Event promotion Full Job Description The Trimble Entertainment Venue is seeking a driven individual with initiative and a outgoing personality for our: Talent Buyer / Sales & Event Manager to take the lead in booking events and generating revenue through strategic rentals and nightlife programming. This role is responsible for filling the calendar with a mix of private rentals, corporate events, and high-energy entertainment, including DJ nights and late-night experiences.

Your Mission:

Bring The Trimble to life, week after week. You’ll act as the primary sales driver , event curator , and relationship builder , ensuring the venue is fully booked and buzzing with activity. This includes outbound sales, networking, collaborating with local talent, and negotiating deals with both private clients and nightlife promoters.

Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales & Business Development:

Proactively reach out to local businesses, planners, promoters, and individuals to book private events (birthdays, brand activations, corporate functions, etc.) Build and maintain a strong pipeline of event leads. Conduct venue tours, respond to inquiries, and close rental agreements.

Talent Buying & Programming:

Source, negotiate, and book DJs, hosts, and performers for weekend and late-night events. Curate an entertainment calendar that reflects Nashville’s evolving music scene, with a focus on house, EDM, and high-energy nightlife. Maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, and local tastemakers.

Event Execution & Coordination:

Coordinate with internal staff and vendors to ensure smooth execution of all events. Be on-site for key events to manage operations and client satisfaction.

Marketing & Collaboration:

Work with the marketing team to promote events and increase awareness of The Trimble as a top-tier rental and nightlife venue. Contribute to social content ideas and promotional strategies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in event sales, nightlife booking, or talent buying. Strong network in the Nashville event, nightlife, or corporate scene. Confident in cold outreach, pitching, and closing. Passionate about music, entertainment, and creating great experiences. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently. This is a high-impact role with real ownership. You’re not just booking events — you’re shaping the culture and profitability of a rising venue in the heart of Nashville.

Salary:

40-50k plus commissions
