Payroll Professional In Human Resources HRIS Full Job Description Position Summary:

The HR Operations Analyst plays a key role in executing core HR operational functions, with a primary focus on payroll processing and administration of health and welfare benefit plans. This role also supports various HRIS operations, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations relevant to Choices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all HR processes.

Qualifications:

SPHR, PHR

certification OR engaged in local human resource student organization. 2. Familiarity with HRIS systems and their functionalities. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 4. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. 5. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive HR data with discretion and professionalism. 6. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is accountable to a local Bible-believing church. 7. Exhibit strong commitment to the sanctity of all human life. 8. Be committed and live by Biblical sexual ethics. Specifically, abstinence outside of marriage and fidelity within marriage. 9. Agree with and be willing to uphold Choices’ Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and policies of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll, 401(k), and benefit enrollment processes. 2. Responsible for talent acquisition and onboarding newly hired employees. 3. Create and maintain complete and confidential files on each employee via the HR portal including: personnel files, annual time off rollover, employee onboarding and exiting, etc. 4. Educate and communicate Choices’ policies and procedures to newly hired and current employees. 5. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices to include communication to employees; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. (e.g., OSHA annual reporting and annual submission). 6. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 7. Coordinates injury reporting, return to work for any workplace injury; workers compensation insurance reporting. 8. Oversee the organization’s benefit administration to include enrollment forms, plan questions, claims resolution. 9. Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. 10. Assist supervisors in providing constructive and timely performance evaluations. 11. As directed by the Executive Director, handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with Choices’ policy. 12. Respond to various information requests from governmental agencies, such as Unemployment, in a timely manner. 13. Answer employee questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information. 14. Recommend to the Executive Director new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed.
