Notifies insurance providers of new employees and chosen benefits. Notifies insurance companies of terminated employees. Verifies new employee deductions are entered correctly in the payroll system. Facilitateing 401(k) enrollment, ensure employee changes and distributions are processed efficiently. Assisting with all HR department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems, Including recruitment, FMLA Administration, Workers Compensation, and Employee Relations. Requirements Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Human Resources preferred. Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience. Minimum 2 years benefit administration preferred. Knowledge of payroll administration, regulations and procedures. Knowledge of benefits programs including health insurance, long-term disability programs, workers’ compensation insurance, unemployment regulations, life insurance, 401k & Defined Benefit plans, COBRA, etc. Requires the ability to practically apply knowledge in major employment laws (such as ACA, Title VII, FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, etc.); and a variety of employee benefit plans. Requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
