Senior HRIS Analyst

The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as a critical functional and technical expert within our organization, responsible for enhancing and maintaining our HRIS (Paychex) system as well as supporting broader HR tools, processes, and data initiatives. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure the effective use of Paychex and other HR systems to meet organizational goals. This role encompasses analysis, configuration, testing, and technical support, along with delivering training on both HRIS functionality and core HR processes. Additionally, the Senior HRIS Analyst plays a key role in driving process improvements, supporting compliance and reporting efforts, and collaborating across departments to optimize HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS & Systems Management Manages and maintains HRIS systems (including Paychex), ensuring proper configuration, data integrity, and system performance.
Supports system updates, integrations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
Acts as a liaison between People & Culture (HR), IT, vendors, and stakeholders for system projects. Reporting & Data Analysis Generates, maintains, and supports various reports and dashboards using appropriate reporting tools to support HR functions such as compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes HR metrics and data for business decision-making and compliance reporting. Process Improvement & Projects Leads HR system and process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
Manages projects from planning through implementation using tools like Microsoft 365. Support & Training Provides technical support, resolves system issues, and ensures user adoption.
Conducts training on both HRIS functionality and general HR processes; creates user guides and documentation to support learning and compliance. Employee Engagement & Leadership Coordinates employee programs such as surveys, campaigns, and volunteer initiatives.
Participates in employee engagement committees. General HR Operations Processes employee data and supports payroll review and validation.
Performs other HR-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in HRIS management, with a focus on Paychex (preferred).
Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
Proficiency in HRIS configuration, security, and reporting.
Experience working with Payroll is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
