Position Overview:

Training & Talent Development Manager We are seeking a strategic, results-driven professional to serve as our Training & Talent Development Manager , with a strong focus on recruitment, workforce development, and continuous improvement. This key leadership role is responsible for developing and executing programs to attract top-tier technical talent , design, development, and execution of a company-wide training program and ensure optimal staffing across multiple shop locations. As the architect of our talent pipeline, you will play a vital role in shaping our workforce, elevating performance, and sustaining our reputation as a leader in the fleet maintenance industry. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive training program for technicians and support staff, including technical skills, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance Design and implement proactive recruitment strategies to source and retain experienced diesel technicians and critical support staff Lead the talent acquisition lifecycle , including candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding Develop and manage technical and safety training programs aligned with company goals, OSHA/DOT regulations, and industry best practices Facilitate hands-on and classroom-based training sessions on diagnostics, repairs, compliance, and safety Maintain a robust system for tracking employee certifications, development plans, and training milestones Partner with shop managers to analyze workforce capacity , forecast staffing needs, and support optimized scheduling Act as a culture champion—promoting safety, accountability, and continuous learning across all locations Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal performance metrics Qualifications Proven experience in recruitment, training, or HR roles, preferably within the automotive, transportation, or skilled trades sector Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, diesel technology, or related technical disciplines is highly desirable Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to lead training sessions and communicate effectively across diverse teams Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific safety regulations Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and training platforms is a plus Why Join Us?
