Job Summary The Learning & Development Consultant is responsible for partnering with business leaders and HR to assess needs, develop learning strategies, and implement initiatives that align with organizational goals. You’ll play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture through scalable, inclusive, and forward-thinking development solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consult with leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs and skill gaps. Design and deliver tailored learning solutions (classroom, virtual, e-Learning and blended.) Facilitate workshops, leadership development programs and team-building sessions. Develop competency models, career paths and learning road maps. Evaluate program effectiveness using metrics, surveys, and analytics to improve impact. Support change management and onboarding initiatives across departments. Stay current on learning trends, tools and technologies to innovate solutions Partner with external vendors and manage L&D budgets as needed. Support implementation and optimization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent oral, written, and customer service-oriented communication skills. Excellent and demonstrated criticalthinking ability. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to respond to and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously under short time frames. Customer service-oriented when working with internaland external customers. Strong facilitation, coaching and consulting skills. Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field. Experience Three (3) to Seven (7) or more years of experience in L&D, talent development or instructional design. Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programs for various levels of employees. Certification(s) such as CPTM, ATD, SHRM or similar are a plus. Travel Requirements Employee will work remotely from a home-based office. Approximately 25% travel required. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will constantly communicate with others regarding employment related information or instruction and must be able toexchange accurate information in these situations. This role requires constant use of standard office equipment such as computers and telephones to receive and share information. Employee must be able to read and interpret information displayed on a computer screen. Employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. This role occasionally requires the employee to lift light objects up to 25 pounds.
