Job Description
Description We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resources Generalist to join the team at a manufacturing and distribution facility located in Franklin, TN. This role will serve as a key member of the local leadership team, providing support and guidance to employees and management while leading the implementation of corporate HR initiatives at the site. Key Responsibilities Act as a primary HR contact, coaching and supporting a diverse workforce on effective employment practices. Partner with local management on employment matters, including performance management and employee inquiries or complaints. Manage recruiting tasks such as posting job openings, working with agencies, and making job offers. Oversee pre-permanent onboarding processes and coordinate first-day activities for new hires. Ensure accurate documentation for all new hires, including E-Verify and background checks. Organize employee benefit enrollments and manage the leave of absence process. Maintain and update employee files. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and special events such as holiday celebrations, wellness activities, and meeting logistics. Administer full lifecycle HR activities, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Conduct employee investigations and recommend actions to address policy violations. Escalate matters as necessary to senior HR leadership or appropriate authorities. Stay up-to-date on state and federal employment laws as well as company policies, sharing relevant updates with managers to ensure compliance. Facilitate training sessions to inform teams of policies, job-related activities, and industry best practices. Assist with implementing HR programs and procedures aligned with overarching corporate objectives. Maintain a commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. Requirements Requirements Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Bilingual in English and Spanish. Five or more years of experience in HR generalist and/or support roles, with a strong background in employee and labor relations. Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution environments is preferred. Proven ability to build trust, manage relationships, and handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
