$67.6K – $91.4K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Organization design Employee relations Senior level Full Job Description The HR Business Partner will assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals that will help shape the future of our organization while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local labor regulations / laws, and best practices. This role will focus on the areas of: organizational design, compensation, talent management, employee relations, compliance, analytics and mergers / acquisitions.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Organization Design / Workforce Planning /

Talent Management:

Provides guidance and input on hierarchy / span of control reporting structures, organizational design / effectiveness, job descriptions and workforce planning. Coordinates talent acquisition strategy, working with business leaders to identify staffing needs, budgets, and organizing recruitment efforts. Analyzes and adapts management onboarding programs, evaluates the effectiveness and updates as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

Compensation / Merit

Performance Management:

Design and support organizational structures, job descriptions, compensation strategies, grade levels, and exemption testing to ensure compliance and competitiveness within market/industry. Supports leaders to ensure efficient and effective compensation strategies including merit, bonus, equity, goal setting and performance improvement plans.

Employee Relations :

Partners with people leaders to oversee employee relations matters including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations and corrective actions. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues with expertise and professionalism. Ensures corrective actions, terminations, and EEOC charge responses are well crafted and effective. Offers expert employee relations support, coaching managers and employees on conflict resolution, workplace issues, HR policy, compliance, and terminations. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Legal Compliance & HR Policies :

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring compliance. Provide strategic input on policies, training, and compliance to align with legal standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and regularly review and update HR policies and procedures. HR Reporting /

Analysis :

Analyzes onboarding, turnover, and organizational effectiveness trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Conducts exit interviews, reviews trends/opportunities and works with people leaders to implement improvement measures. Analyzes HR metrics, trends, and best practices to guide decision-making on hiring, reducing turnover, HR processes and improving retention strategies. Utilizes HR metrics to recommend innovative solutions to enhance employee experience, engagement and productivity.

Merger & Acquisition :

Assist with mergers and acquisitions including but not limited to: HR project management, job mapping, salary analysis, employee and management communications, employee acclimation and integration. Thought leadership, discretion and confidential handling of sensitive information. Any other duties as assigned by Management.
