HighFive Healthcare is a doctor-led dental support organization specializing in oral surgery and endodontics. We partner with specialists across the Southeast to provide comprehensive practice management services—ranging from HR and marketing to IT, finance, and compliance—so physicians can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. HighFive Healthcare is seeking a strategic and collaborative Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing team. In this role, you will support HR functions across our practices and homebase, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers. You will help drive business value, foster a positive employee experience, and ensure compliance with HR policies and best practices. Duties and Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Consultation Serve as a strategic partner to managers by providing HR policy guidance and interpretation. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations as needed. Advise managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Foster a culture of trust, feedback, and continuous improvement across the organization. Performance Management & Talent Development Support the design, development, and implementation of performance management processes. Identify high-performing employees and collaborate on retention strategies. Manage performance standards, evaluation tools, and performance management systems. Compensation & Benefits Administration Partner with the Chief People Officer to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness across roles. Provide compensation recommendations for promotions and market adjustments in line with policies and budgets. Support annual compensation cycles, including merit increases and bonuses. Collaborate with the FP&A team to review and analyze compensation/classification change requests. Manage employee benefits programs, open enrollment processes, broker relationships, and EDI feeds. Training & Development Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and determine appropriate training courses for all levels. Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure effectiveness and desired outcomes. Workplace Safety & Compliance Lead programs that promote workplace safety, including regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Support organizational change initiatives by advising leadership on communication and transition strategies. HR Systems & Metrics Leverage HR metrics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Ensure HR systems are effectively utilized and provide ongoing feedback for system improvements. Additional Responsibilities Manage leaves of absence administration. Support the Chief People Officer with special projects and organizational initiatives. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues. Strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, organizational development, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment law. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build trust at all levels. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion. Proven ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Working Environment Professional office setting with standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, filing systems). Physical Demands Primarily sedentary with occasional lifting (up to 15 pounds), reaching, bending, or walking.
