- Job SummaryGuides theday-to-day activities for a team responsible for Human Resource(HR) tasks. Serves as a strategic partner to the business providingconsultative and operational support. Helps implement strategiesconsistent with the Butterball Way culture and the business goals
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of ateam of entry level individual contributors.
Provides guidance,coaching, and support to ensure successful completion of tasks.
Participates in HR activities such as hiring, terminations,performance management, goal setting, team member development,scheduling, etc. Enforces systems, policies, and procedures
- Plans, organizes, and guides the administration of departmentactivities, providing technical direction in functional areas ofexpertise. Promotes HR programs that support team member well-beingand engagement
- Administers, helps implement, and ensuresconsistency in execution of all HR policies, programs, andprocedures
- Assists in the development and administration ofAffirmative Action Plans, Equal Employment programs, and otheremployment-related rules and regulations including unemploymentcompensation claims, wage and hour, labor, employment eligibility,etc
- Conducts investigations, takes appropriate actions,advises managers on appropriate actions, and reviews managerrecommendations
- Provides guidance and coaching to managementregarding performance management (promotions, demotions, transfers,leaves of absence, return to work programs, disciplinary programs,and terminations), employee relations, Human Resources policies andprocedures, employee benefit programs, and compensation
- Fosterseffective working relationships with leadership team and teammembers to ensure ability to advise and influence
- Providescoaching and guidance to leaders and partners to identify strategicsolutions to accomplish business goals.
- Minimum Qualifications(Educations & Experience
- Highschool diploma, GED, orequivalent
- 4+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge,skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- 1+ year ofleadership experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities tosucceed in the role

- Work will beperformed in a variety of conditions including climate-controlledoffice environment(s); in a manufacturing plant environment withvarying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas,chemicals, and other site conditions; and in a farm environmentincluding working outdoors in seasonal conditions with live animalsand at times in dusty environments.
This position requires theindividual to wear and work in personal protective equipment whilein the manufacturing and farm environment. This individual may beworking around sick or diseased animals where additionalprecautions may need to be taken
- The noise level of the officeand farm environment is usually moderate. The noise level in themanufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearingprotection. Showering in and out of farm locations may berequired
- Occasional travel may be required.
