Staffing Supervisor (LPN)

Role Overview:

As a Staffing Supervisor , you will be responsible for coordinating daily staffing for all nursing shifts, ensuring adequate coverage while supporting both employee satisfaction and regulatory compliance. You’ll play a vital role in balancing care needs with efficient scheduling and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly nurse staffing schedules Monitor call-ins and absences, adjusting the schedule as needed to ensure appropriate coverage Coordinate shift coverage for holidays, PTO, and unexpected absences Serve as the primary on-call contact for staffing needs Maintain compliance with state staffing requirements and internal policies Communicate with nursing leadership and HR on staffing changes and trends Build strong relationships with staff through fair scheduling practices and timely communication Support nursing units during high-volume times or emergent staffing shortages

Qualifications:

Current LPN license in the state of employment Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred Previous scheduling or staffing experience a plus Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Familiarity with scheduling software or willingness to learn Venza Care is an equal opportunity employer.
