Provides timely support, guidance, and coaching to employees and leaders on a range of issues including policies and procedures, ADA, FMLA, investigations, and terminations. Manages the talent acquisition process for assigned customer group to include collaborating with departmental managers to understand current and future needs, skills, and competencies required, recruiting strategies, interviewing, and selection of qualified job applicants. Attends and participates in local career fairs, college events, and community events to attract top talent and build name recognition. Coordinates onboarding and orientation scheduling of new employees. Participates in/or provides support to disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations. Coordinates employee recognition and relations programs and events. Evaluates people-related data/metrics to promote a high-performing culture. Reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies. All other duties as assigned. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; professional certifications a plus. Three or more years of human resources experience required. Experience in a retail, sales, or customer service setting preferred. Strong knowledge of human resources, procedures, practices, laws, and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office required; HRIS experience preferred. Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Professional demeanor and positive attitude are a must. Ability to travel up to 20% is required.
