- Are you an experienced HR and Labor Relations professional with a passion for fostering positive employee relations?
We are seeking a Human Resources/Labor Relations Manager to oversee labor relations strategies, employee engagement, and workplace policies at our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate employee and labor relations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide strategic HR counsel to plant leadership on personnel selection, labor law compliance, and employee relations.
- Lead and support the administration of collective bargaining agreements, including assisting with renewals and negotiations.
- Drive proactive employee relations initiatives to maintain a compliant and productive workforce.
- Oversee training programs, recruitment processes, benefits administration, and conflict resolution.
- Manage staffing, onboarding, and policy implementation to ensure compliance with regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 7 years of industrial HR management experience, including at least 5 years in a unionized workplace.
- Proven expertise in collective bargaining and labor contract administration.
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, business, or a related field (SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and payroll software.
