Administration Position Purposes :

The Director of Human Resources is a key role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within Five Horizons Health Services. The Director will play a critical role in developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and foster a culture of innovation, diversity, and employee development.

Essential Functions:
Leadership and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s mission and business objectives. Provide guidance and support to the executive team and other departments on HR-related matters.
  • Lead the execution of strategies developed in with Tier I Chief Officers and Senior Leadership
  • Develop and implement processes and protocols which maximize efficiency and limit liability
  • Be a consistent physical presence in all FHHS locations
  • Participate in Senior Leadership Meetings and Five Wide Meetings.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Lead the talent acquisition process, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent.
  • Develop and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Work closely with Finance to develop a full understanding of all Grant Funded positions and ensure they are filled in a timely manner.
Compensation and Benefits:

Manage the company’s compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and fair compensation.

  • Develop and implement employee retention strategies and initiatives.
  • Work with CFO to ensure salary ranges and increases are supported by the Organizations Finances.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Actively participate in the Policy Handbook Committee
  • Serve as a member of the OSHA Compliance team.
Training and Development:
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop cost effective CEU/CME opportunities for professional staff.
HR Technology and Data Analytics:
  • Implement and leverage HR technology systems to streamline HR processes.
  • Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • In collaboration with the Privacy Officer and Compliance Officer, monitor the annual HIPAA workforce training for the organization
  • Serve as administrator for the agency Human Resources IT system (Paylocity)
Culture and Communication:
  • Develop a trust-based organizational culture and promote transparency, collaboration, and healthy communication throughout the system and among departments
  • Address interpersonal conflicts as necessary; Develop the ability of Tier II Chief Officers and Department Heads to address interpersonal conflicts Departmental Support
  • Provide comprehensive support to all 5H departments.
  • In Microsoft Teams, maintain detailed documentation of relevant tasks list.
  • Ensure workload is evenly distributed in the HR department.
  • Provide consistent leadership development readings and discussions with the HR staff.
  • Participate in relevant internal meetings related to designated departments
