Scope of Responsibility:
To ensure all current and potential team members are appropriately hired, onboarded, trained and have all the necessary resources to be able to succeed in their job roles. 4.
Employee Manual:
All employees must thoroughly understand the requirements of their job. Before being assigned to the position, a complete understanding of the Employee Manual is necessary since the person holding the position will be subject to the rules and regulations listed in the manual. 5.
Essential Tasks:
a. All aspects of recruiting “A” players for Wilson Hospitality. This includes but is not limited to; posting job openings, attending job fairs, reaching out to local schools and universities, maintaining relationships with local career centers. b. Hire qualified candidates. This includes but is not limited to; screening applications, 1st round interviews, scheduling follow-up interview with supervisors/managers, conducting reference checks and background checks, completing new hire paperwork through utilizing the Talent Acquisition section of Paycom. c. Ensure that applications for employment are filed accordingly to regulations. d. Each employee file should contain all appropriate paperwork, and this should be verified at least once a year before an audited payroll. e. Hold onboarding sessions with new team members. This includes but is not limited to; touring the hotel, introductions of staff members, and review of handbook/policies and procedures. f. Conduct Wilson Hospitality and Hilton/Hampton/IHG/Holiday Inn Express Brand standard training. g. Keep accurate training records. h. Maintain an accurate and informative employee manual with First Response. The employee manual is to be distributed to each new employee when they are hired. Each employee must have a signed acknowledgment in their personal file that indicates they have received a copy of the manual and understand the material in it. i. Maintain appropriate employee files and purge terminated employee files as needed. j. Keep username and login information for Hilton OnQ,IHG merlin, pay com, and myhotelteam. k. Distribute information packets and assist team members on the use on paycom and myhotelteam. l. Assist team members with the Hilton Go Travel Program and IHG travel program m. Serve as a witness to general managers/supervisors for write-ups n. Plan Employee Appreciation Luncheons, Christmas Parties, Spring Picnics o. Track and acknowledge employee birthdays/anniversaries. p. Hold G.M.s accountable for rewarding staff appropriately regarding team member bonuses. q. Track Employee referrals. r. Implementation and execution of employee engagement/recognition programs. s. Maintain up to date emergency contact records, telephone numbers, and email addresses. t. Conduct exit interviews, complete termination forms, remove employees from Paycom/HE/OnQ. u. Work with temporary staffing agencies as needed. v. Coordination and execution of International Housekeeping Week, Front Desk week, and other departmental recognition events through Hilton. w. Work with community task forces to help with recruiting. x. Attend job fairs in surrounding areas to recruit and network. y. Other tasks as deemed necessary to take care of our team members. z. Develop and coordinate the Internship Program. Major Areas of Responsibility Conducting and executing the Team Member Growth and Development Process for Wilson Hospitality Properties Aligning team members to our vision, mission, and core values of Wilson Hospitality Collaboration with General Managers, supervisors to assess hiring needs and conduct hiring plans to equip our teams in providing a consistently excellent guest experience. Executing of training requirements for all Wilson Hospitality team members Assist General Managers with brand compliance with our franchisors and the QA process Preparation and Executing Recognition/Appreciation programs at properties Special Projects as assigned by Toby Wilson – Human Resources –

Several years of experience in recruitment or human resources are essential. Experience managing a team and overseeing the entire hiring process is particularly important
Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary for articulating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and providing feedback to candidates
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is crucial. Familiarity with tools like Workday, Paycom, SAP, or other HR management systems is preferred.

Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team of recruiters, as well as the ability to make strategic hiring decisions
