We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our client’s growing organization in Gainesville, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of all HR functions for a dynamic team of professionals. As the sole HR representative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and fostering a positive workplace culture. Position is located in Gainesville, FL., and requires a fully on-site work presence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new employees are integrated successfully into the company.
- Manage all aspects of employee benefits administration, including enrollment and communication.
- Develop and maintain competitive compensation structures that align with industry standards.
- Lead the hiring process, from job postings to candidate selection and interviews.
- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies and procedures.
- Handle biweekly payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and workplace matters.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Partner with management to address organizational needs and implement HR strategies. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources management or administration.
- Proven expertise in payroll processing and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits and compensation practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
