Full Job Description Position Overview:

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day human resources operations, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, benefits administration, and policy implementation. This position requires a proactive leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to foster positive employee relations while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. Some locations operate 24/7, as well as some operate on the weekends, so this position will need to be flexible with days and hours of work in order to service the operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Communication:

Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues, offering guidance on conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting open communication. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.

Performance Management:

Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring it is conducted timely and effectively. Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and managing underperformance. Support leadership in implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.

Compliance & Policy Management:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization. Handle investigations into employee complaints, ensuring timely resolution in compliance with company policy.

Training & Development:

Identify training needs and work with operations to design programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Coordinate training sessions for leadership, staff development, and regulatory compliance. Promote a culture of continuous learning by recommending resources and career development opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits Management:

Oversee compensation structure and ensure competitiveness in the marketplace. Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.), manage open enrollment periods, and educate employees on benefits options.

HR Systems & Reporting:

Maintain accurate HR records and data, utilizing HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to generate reports and insights for management. Monitor key HR metrics (turnover, retention, absenteeism, etc.) and present findings to senior leadership with recommendations for improvement.

Leadership & Strategy:

Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals and overall company growth. Lead HR initiatives that support the company’s mission, values, and corporate culture. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve HR functions. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required). HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in employee relations, compliance, and performance management. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations (currently have locations in

).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. High level of confidentiality and integrity. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, and general HR software tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
