We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee payroll, HR operations, and employee relations at a busy, fast-paced worksite. This individual will serve as a key partner to leadership while maintaining a strong presence as the primary advocate and resource for employees.
Summary / Objective The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the full scope of site-level HR functions, including payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, benefits coordination, employee relations, and compliance. This role is a hands-on position that requires a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience 5+ years of direct payroll processing experience 3+ years of supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or similar HRIS/payroll platforms SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or willingness to obtain) salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8:30 AM – 5

BachelorsResponsibilities Payroll & HRIS Management:
Accurately compile and process weekly payroll; ensure all employee data is kept current in the HRIS.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Coordinate all hiring activities, from posting and screening through to new hire onboarding and orientation.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, wellness programs, and general concerns.
Temporary Staffing Oversight:
Reconcile payroll and invoices for temporary staff and staffing vendors.
Workers’ Compensation:
Manage workers compensation claims and coordinate timely reporting.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and employment laws and regulations.
Leadership Support:
Collaborate with site management to promote a positive work environment and provide HR-related guidance.
Corporate HR Collaboration:
Participate in cross-functional HR initiatives and projects.
