We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Traveling HR Manager to support our Skilled Nursing Facilities across multiple locations within the state of Florida. Role:
The Interim Traveling HR Manager will provide hands-on HR support across our facilities, stepping in where coverage is needed and playing a key role during surveys and transitional periods. This position requires 100% travel , flexibility with scheduling, and a deep understanding of the unique HR needs within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as on-site HR support at assigned Aston Health facilities, often on short notice. Assist facility leadership during state and federal surveys and ensure HR readiness and compliance. Provide interim HR leadership during staffing gaps, leaves of absence, or leadership transitions. Oversee employee relations, investigations, documentation, and compliance with labor laws and Aston Health policies. Partner with corporate HR to align facility-level initiatives and ensure seamless communication. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with facility teams to foster a positive and compliant work environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting. At least 3 years of experience working within Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) is required. Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time across the state of Florida as needed. Strong working knowledge of HR laws, employee relations, FMLA, ADA, and compliance protocols. Excellent communication, time management, and adaptability skills.
