Job Description

HRIS Manager Shield Technology Partners Tampa, FL 33607 • Hybrid work Description The HRIS Manager plays a critical role in STP’s expansion strategy by overseeing and optimizing our HR technology systems, primarily focusing on the UKG platform. This role is responsible for supporting integration and consolidation efforts across newly acquired partners, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely HRIS and benefits administration. The HRIS Manager will work closely with the broader HR team and internal stakeholders to drive system enhancements, ensure data integrity, and support end-user adoption across the organization. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and brings a strong mix of technical proficiency, HR operational knowledge, and attention to detail. Lead the onboarding of new partners onto the

UKG HRIS

platform, including census uploads, payroll group setup, and benefits administration configuration. Ensure all state tax accounts are registered and payroll deductions are properly configured during integration. Maintain and manage the HRIS system to ensure high data accuracy, integrity, and availability. Manage benefits administration processes, including enrollments, updates, and compliance reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related questions, issues, and escalations. Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and HR leaders on system updates, compliance, and reporting. Analyze and generate HR and payroll data reports to support decision-making. Train internal HR users and partner team members on UKG functionality and system best practices. Monitor system performance and proactively implement enhancements or new feature rollouts. Work with IT and UKG support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with data protection standards and employment law recordkeeping requirements. Maintain accurate employee records, both digital and physical, and support retention protocols. Actively manage the hire process, ensuring forms are complete, timely, and accurately entered into UKG. Respond to first-level HR inquiries and provide general administrative support to the HR function. Support cross-functional projects involving system integrations, acquisitions, and HR transformation initiatives. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience working in multi-state and multi-entity environments. Expertise in building and scaling HR systems and infrastructure (HRIS, performance management, onboarding). Ability to collaborate across departments and influence executive leadership. Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a high-velocity environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting technology companies, especially Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Experience in M&A integration environments. Familiarity with UKG, or other HRIS platforms. Prior experience managing HRIS functions for multiple legal entities. Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
